Guidelines
Allowed:
-Medieval to Renaissance Era Products
-Handmade products
-Self designed print-on-demand products
-Self designed 3D print products
-Licensed merchandise vendors
-Artist collaborations
-Decor, outfits, and equipment that fit the theme
Summary
Not allowed:
-Overly modern themed products
-ABSOLUTELY NO GEN AI. PERIOD.
-Non-contracted resales are extremely limited (must be individually approved)
-Overuse of patterns/designs you did not make (especially with 3D Print and crochet products)
-Modern clothes, decor, and equipment (with exceptions like square readers, fans, etc)
We are a PRO artist company. We will be prioritizing hand-made and artist-designed products. Absolutely NO Ai images may be displayed by participants of our faire. Print-on-demand and 3D printed products may be allowed ONLY if the vendor is designing these products themselves. Resale products will generally not be allowed with only a few exceptions. An example of an acceptable resale product is a leather boot maker reselling leather conditioner so their customers can take care of their boots. Another example may be craft products such as leather, furs, fabrics, bones, etc. Officially Licensed Merchandise Vendors are acceptable as long as the consent to sell can be proven.
It really hurts the reputation of a faire when someone buys a decorative statue, only to find the EXACT product being sold for half the price at the local craft store not even a week later (was my exact experience). All types of products, especially resales, must be approved by the Craft Coordinator.
All vendors must have the legally required licenses, insurances, and tax info in order to sell at our events.
Artisan Tents
We want our faire to be as immersive as possible, so we will prioritizing Artists who can bring a medieval-renaissance looking tent. Modern Pop-Up canopies are allowed, but should be decorated with trim and hanging fabric (aka "valance") to hide the modern look. Simple triangular or square cut outs to long cheap fabric should work just fine. Curtains to cover the poles also hides the modern look. All plastic tables must be covered with fabric or wood. Totes must be hidden under the tables or covered with fabric.
Artisan Garb
All Artisans and their sales associates must wear garb. These requirements may not be as strict as they are at other larger faires. We are not a historic faire, so there is no need for historic accuracy. However, we still want everyone to look like they fit into the world of Cross Realm Faire.

Where will your shop fit in at faire?
We will be adding sections for each neighboring kingdom's culture in our faire's lore. Please browse through our lore page and think about whether your shop would most fit into the section of the humans, elves, dwarves, or pirates. If your shop is placed in a specific section, we ask that you dress in a way that represents that culture. Humans have a more bardic and English Renaissance culture. Elves are more druidic with nature themes and magic. Dwarves are a mix of Vikings and Scots. While Pirates are just pirates but can be any race and contain other cultures.
Bullying, Gossip, and Harassment
We have very strict rules regarding drama for all participants of our events. Any disputes between participants MUST be handled professionally. If you have any concerns and cannot work things out with someone else, please immediately contact one of the producers or the designated manager. All reports will be taken seriously and investigated. You may NOT, I repeat, NOT go around spreading (out-of-game) gossip about your fellow participants both in person and online. Any posts made anonymously in which contents involve bullying another participant will be thoroughly investigated with the group page admin and potentially law enforcement. Any participant caught with a pattern of such abuse will be completely banned from all of our events indefinitely.
We will have an in-game gossip system where characters may gossip to patrons about other characters. All registered gossip must be made by the participating character and consent must be renewed every season.
Sweepstakes
Artisans will have the opportunity to participate in a sweepstakes giveaway. The sweepstakes awards will be a collection of Artisan's products and Faire provided products, and the winners will be chosen at random towards the end of each faire day. Anyone can receive a free sweepstake ticket by leveling up and purchasing a product from each participating Artisan. The schedule for the sweepstakes announcements will be displayed on the main Entertainment Schedule.
We feel this can be a great incentive to get Patrons to buy more products. If you'd like to participate, you must provide at least one handmade or self designed product for each day (so two products, also provide two tags so we know which vendor it belongs to). We will provide you with a sign that will indicate you are a participating artisan, which must be returned by Sunday evening. We will also give you sweepstakes tickets that you MUST give away for EACH product sold (not each order, each product). The schedule will be posted once it is decided.
Licensed Merchandisers
Our Faire will allow officially Licensed Merchandisers, which is a person or business with consent to make or sell products using another company's brand name. This is not the same as your average resaler selling products they bought from Temu.

-Board Games and TTRPGs
-Equipment for playing TTRPGs
-Toys, decor, and game pieces from popular medieval fantasy franchises
-LARP foam weapons, armor, and props
-Artisan products from those who cannot attend themselves.
All Licensed Merchandisers must follow the same policies as Artisans.
Food & Drink Vendors
Food and Drink Vendor rules will be slightly different than Artisans. We may accept different types of food/drink vendors such as...
-Freshly made food/drink
-Pre-packaged snacks and sodas
-Food truckers
-Wandering snack sellers
While we may accept Food & Drink Vendors who do not look aesthetically in-period, we will prioritize those who do. We ask that all Food & Drink Vendors and their sales associates who will be seen by patrons avoid clothing that is blatantly modern. A plain sleeveless tunic would be acceptable to keep cool in a hot kitchen.
